Japanese Sweets Japan Matcha Ice Cream

Super easy to make this Japanese Matcha Mania Ice Cream is a splendid dessert (or snack!)

Splurge on the highest quality Japanese matcha green tea powder...and your creamy wonder will take on the authentic yumminess of Kyoto. (One of the elite meccas of exquisite green tea.)

This recipe is inspired by Martha Stewart.

Ingredients:
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons Japanese high grade matcha powder
  • 2 cups cold heavy cream
Directions:

Line a loaf pan with waxed paper.

On high speed beat the heavy cream, matcha and extract until peaks appear. (About 3 minutes in a kitchen stand mixer.)
Note: Remember to freeze your mixing bowl and beater the night before. This is the magic secret to speedy whipped cream making.
You can also add a pinch of cream of tartar.

Gently stir in the condensed milk. When combined, empty the contents of the bowl into the prepared loaf pan.

Freeze for 6 hours or until firm.
