Matcha Nutella Tango Cupcakes for Vintage Kitchen

Many of the world's top Argentine Tango dancers hail from Japan. The Japanese have established themselves as serious contenders at world championships. Hiroshi and Kyoko Yamao took first place at the 2009 World Tango Championships. They are but one example.

Speaking of prizes, excellence and Argentina, my friend Paula produces some of the world's best desserts from her Buenos Aires Vintage Kitchen. Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream with Cherry Sauce, French Strawberry Cake and Ricotta Tangerine Cheesecake...The titles alone are enticing. When Paula asked yours truly to guest post, I was honored.  And created Matcha Nutella Tango Cupcakes.

The dessert may be simpler than the usual gourmet fare produced from the Vintage Kitchen. But I am confident the tango of the slightly bitter matcha and the very chocolaty hazelnut will please almost any palate.
