Gluten-Free Treats for Tricksters #Glutino

日本語での説明はスクロール・ダウンすればご覧頂けます。

Like a phantom leaving quiet clues and chills, autumn is once again a reality. Halloween, the celebration of ghosts and goblins is near. After departing platform 9¾ the magical train of time is heading for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts-esque world of Halloween tricks and treats.

Do you believe in magic? I do. Numerous complaints have been filed by friends stating “gluten-free products are not tasty!” Usually a logical list of complaints follow…..Until they bite into a Glutino gluten-free English muffin, pretzel, toaster pastry, cake or cookie. Upside down frowns suddenly turn into genuine grins.  Usually a logical list of praises follow…

Gluten-sensitive or not, Halloween fun awaits you this autumn. Glutino is your delicious and marvelously versatile friend in the kitchen. Please see easily do-able gluten-free magic below.  The easy treats are perfect too for Muggles (people who allegedly don’t have magic bubbling inside.)

Speaking of magic… The WizardingWorld of Harry Potter in Osaka, Japan has mesmerized visitors in Universal Studios Osaka. All agree the Hogwarts and Hogsmeade transcend a movie set and are truly magical. Now if only there were a spell for the pricey souvenirs and snacks. Another reality: The crowds! (Regardless of season.)  Universal Studios Osaka is celebrating 15 years. But The Wizarding World has only been open since July 2014. So, wait for several years or magic! P.s. The Harry Potter rides in Osaka are not for the faint of heart or stomach.

Gluten-Free Halloween Treat How-Tos

#glutenfree #halloween #magic #treats #healthy #fun

Gluten-free Halloween treats are super easy to create with Glutino products...
In case all the details in the photos aren't evident, here's the easy how-to.

Ingredients:
  • Candy Eyes
  • Glutino Pretzels
  • Glutino Yankee Cornbread Mix (Eggs, Butter, Buttermilk or Greek Yogurt)
  • Cheese
  • Glutino English Muffins
  • Olives
  • Mini Tomato
  • Hummus or your favorite savory spread
  • Lettuce
Directions:

For Halloween Pretzel Critters, insert candy eyes in the holes.

For the Cornbread Cakes, prepare according to package instructions. (Greek yogurt is a great substitute for the buttermilk.)
If making cornbread cupcakes bake for about 22 minutes. Once cooled, decorate with Halloween shapes created with cookie cutters.

For the English Muffin Monster, spread hummus or your favorite spread on both sides.
Secure 2 olives on top with toothpicks, place a mini tomato for the nose...With a lettuce leaf attach the monster's tongue!

Wishing you magic!

Glutino provided the gluten-free treats featured in this post.
