Mini Dorayakis (Pancakes with Red Bean Paste)

Dorayaki: An ever popular Japanese red azuki bean paste (anko) is sandwiched between  pancakes. The minis provide a touch of sweetness any time of day or night.

Yuzu (Japanese Citrus) Scones

The Japanese yuzu citrus glaze kissed sugar crust gives away to a soft scone middle. They say the way into a man’s heart is his stomach…This recipe may just be the one!

As yuzu tastes like the combination of lemon and lime. Feel free to substitute lemon or lime or a little of both for the yuzu.

This recipe is adapted from King Arthur Flour.

Mandarin Orange Crescent Rolls

Mikan - Japanese oranges - commonly known as cutie pies in the U.S. are a popular autumn and winter fruit. From children's bento lunch boxes to home altars, mikan are everywhere. Understandably. The mini oranges are a quick pick-me-up -  just like my crescent rolls filled with homemade mandarin orange jam.

Gluten-Free Chocolate Touchdown Brownies

Touchdown! My gluten-free chocolate brownies were a huge hit with my husband and his colleagues. No one missed the flour.

The Ninja Baker's Sesame Chicken

Japanese fried karaage chicken is a bento lunch box staple. For my health conscious husband, I created this baked sesame chicken. Same crunch factor. Plus, the bonus of an assertive sesame flavor paired with a tangy soy and honey sauce.

Valentine Fairy Cookies

Nancy Lippisch's recipe for fairy cookies is a family treasure. This Ninja Baker is grateful for Nancy's permission to reprint her recipe here.

The Ninja Baker's Not Ketchup Berry Cupcakes

Erika Kerekes, the creator of Not Ketchup, reported that many of our friends were enjoying the Blueberry White Pepper Not Ketchup with sweet things...I confess I was a bit skeptical. But, you never know until you try. And I'm glad I tried! My berry cupcakes infused with Blueberry White Pepper Not Ketchup turned out to be a burst of strawberry swirl and a touch of blueberry tang!

The Ninja Baker's Not Ketchup Asian Chicken

Cherry Chipotle Not Ketchup makes the Ninja Baker's Asian Chicken flavors sing with just the right amount of sweet spice!

Banana Pecan Breakfast Cupcakes

Just the right touch of cinnamon spice is swirled into a moist banana sponge. Pecans and brown sugar top off the delectable cake.
